Geography

The primary aim of the first year Geography course is to inform the pupils about the physical world. This provides a foundation to discuss how our decisions and actions as humans can have either positive or negative impacts on our world. Discussing and reflecting on issues regarding the Greenhouse Effect, and how human activity is expediting global warming, affords the boys an understanding of the importance of their actions relative to the local and global community. Through educating the boys as to how humans can live in symbiosis with the physical world we can foster the idea of each of us being a responsible member of a community that we care for and that cares for us.
